MAKER-SPACEFlex Tech High School-Novi instills in their students a love of learning and wants school to be a place for kids to explore real problems in a creative environment. In line with the belief that students learn best by doing, we invested in a state-of-the-art makerspace. Makerspaces are community studio spaces where people gather together to build, share resources, experiment with new tools and technologies, tinker, and create.
Makers inhabit a spirit of innovation and problem solving.
Our student-makers tackle challenging tasks, and work together in teams.
Flex Tech High School-Novi is home to the only two certified Maker Educators in Michigan. Beth Steckelberg and Christopher Quiambao both earned their Maker Certificates through Sonoma State University.
